L e a r n i n g C u r v e C h i l d C a r e Curriculum
Hey Mom, guess what I learned today!
The opportunity to have a positive influence on children and families depends on the quality of the program provided. A comprehensive, developmentally appropriate curriculum, The Creative Curriculum includes children’s learning in all areas of development: social/emotional, physical, cognitive, and language. Goals and objectives show where you want to go and the curriculum tells you how to get there. Infants through Two’s
Infants, Toddlers, and Two's experience learning opportunities in Activity Centers such as:
Music and Movement: musical instruments, toys that make noise, and singing
Language and Communication: board books, picture cards, and puppets
Arts and Creativity: mirrored walls, visual learning display, and photo books
Gross motor: activity walkers, large climbing mats, and push/pull toys
Self help and Fine motor: stacking blocks, and cause and effect toys
Literacy: reading favorite stories and hearing sounds
Quiet play: stuffed animals and dolls, soft balls, and activity mats
